Studios are like second homes to artist these days, considering this is where the magic happens. Knowing this you can imagine how devastated Kanye West was when he found out his Calabasas, CA office/creative studio was broken into last week.
According to TMZ a thief allegedly barged open the door of his studio and got away with $20,000 worth of equipment. Since this building is purposely undesignated police are led to believe this was an inside job.
West is not one to be worried about the monetary value of objects on behalf that the equipment was replaced immediately. More distressing is the potential loss of the music, product ideas and Yeezy designs that were stored on the computer.
Always being prepared for the worst West does not appear to be frantic about anyone cracking into the highly-exclusive material. According to someone in the West camp, there’s so much encrypted armor on the devices stolen that cracking into to it is nearly impossible.
So for you out there who thought a couple of leaks would be the result of this keep dreaming, Mr. West is way to smart for that.
