Justin Timberlake is set to release new music and we can’t f***ing wait.
After making the announcement two days before the end of April, the Memphis native dropped a hint via Twitter with the popular “It’s Gonna Be May” memes that have went viral of the singer-songwriter annually since 2012. During the last week of April and days before the first day of May, the internet flooded with meme images and animated GIFs of Timberlake mouthing the lyrics with the misheard caption from the 2000 pop hit single “It’s Gonna Be Me,” performed by the singer and his former group, *NSYNC.
The new single will be produced by Swedish hitmaker, Max Martin, who worked with Timberlake while he was still a member of the group. Martin has been making hit records since the late 90’s. He helped write records for the band such as “It’s Gonna Be Me,” *NSYNC’s only Billboard Hot 100 single while together, and “Tearing Up My Heart.”

The new track will appear on the soundtrack of DreamWorks’ Trolls, which will be released in theaters in November.
In addition to contributing original songs, the singer voices a character named Branch and he will also be an executive producer for the DreamWorks animation.
Timberlake has been working on material for his next solo album, which is planned to be released in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Pharrell Williams and Timbaland are said to be among musicians enlisted for what will be the “Mirrors” hitmaker’s first studio installment since his 2013 chart-toppers The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2.
