After a three-year hiatus, Justin Timberlake has finally returned to the scene with new music and a fresh global performance.
On Saturday at Europe’s biggest music event, The Eurovision Song Contest, before the results were announced, JT and his band, The Tennessee Kids, hit the stage with a phenomenal performance. He got things going with one of Timberlake’s previous hits, “Rock Your Body” then followed up with his newest single, “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” The performance took place in Stockholm, Sweden.
This was the first time TV’s longest-running international singing competition was aired in the United States and Timberlake’s performance was watched by over 200 million viewers globally. The show also aired live in 42 countries.
His performances was a promotional tactic for the song, which will be featured on the soundtrack for Dreamworks new animated film, Trolls.
The song was co-written and co-produced by Swedish songwriters, Max Martin and Shellback. This is great news for Timberlake fans because not only is he back to putting music out, but there will be more because this new song, isn’t even a single from his future album, which he announced he would be releasing soon!
