Johnny Manziel has found himself in the limelight again, but yet for another non-football related public incident.
The former Cleveland Browns quarterback and current free agent was involved in a scuffle at a Las Vegas nightclub on Friday. The scene took place during a surprise Drake performance at Jewel Nightclub at the Aria. According to TMZ Sports, the issue began when club goers initiated a shoving match as they attempted to score a closer look at Drake’s performance.
Before the fight broke out, Manziel was out of harm’s way enjoying the show from a VIP booth. Once things began to heat up, it was only then when the agitated Manziel reacted by pushing and shoving a random club goer. Sources claimed Johnny took things further when he belted a harsh blow towards one of the club attendees. Watch the video below.
In the video, you can see the guy Manziel allegedly punched going after him; fortunately, a club security guard stepped in to break things up between the two. Shortly after the incident, Manziel got the boot and exited the club without any more chaos ensuing.
His most recent display of his bad temper happened on April 25th when he was indicted by the Dallas police for assault to his girlfriend. Later that same month, Manziel tweeted out a specific response to an Ohio reporter and said, “You guys act like what I’m doing is something new. I’ve been the same person, doing the same things since it all started.”
