Jennifer Lopez Addresses Diva Rumors and More [WATCH]

Shh! She’s about to shut the naysayers down.

Jennifer Lopez is loved and admired worldwide – that’s a known fact. For this reason, Ms. Lopez is setting the record straight when it comes to her career and a handful of other topics. During a roundtable discussion with THR, she’s putting the word “Diva” to rest (bye for now), and using her celebrity status for the better. The “I’m Real” singer didn’t hesitate to speak her mind and rid herself of the label completely:

“I’ve always been fascinated by how much more well-behaved we have to be than men,” she said. “I did get a moniker of being a diva, which I don’t deserve, because I’ve always been a hard worker.”

As we all know the roundtable doesn’t have a beginning nor an end. Therefore she made valuable use of her time during the conversation. To put it another way she didn’t refrain from speaking on how women are being treated unfairly:

Lopez confessed that she still feels “sometimes crippled to voice [her] opinion,” as a result of the industry’s boys club. “We [as women] are not allowed to have certain opinions or be a certain way, or be passionate.”
