Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith have proclaimed an official “Beyoncé Day” in Minnesota. It will be on today’s date (May 23rd), while thousands of fans are waiting at the TCF bank Stadium her to perform, which starts at 7 p.m. And doors opened at 5:30 p.m.
She receives this day do to her many achievements and being a role model for young women, “Beyoncé has influenced many Minnesota girls and women with the powerful, positive messages in her music, and her impact and success have been widely recognized,” said Gov. Dayton at a press release.
This will be her fourth performance in Minnesota. Her first was the Verizon Ladies First tour in 2004. She came back in ’09 for her I Am…World Tour and in ’13 for her Mrs. Carter World Tour.
The declaration is short and straight to the point, recognizing the singer’s success in the music industry, the 34-year-old has certainly embodied that aspect.
Beyoncé has recently dropped her bomb album, LEMONADE that has the ladies not being sorry and getting into formation; she’s also, on her Formation tour.
Congratulations to Queen Bey with her well-deserved award for her hard work, success and inspiration to girls and women all over the world.
