As we know the art of graffiti is deeply etched in New York City’s history along with the pioneers of this culture like legendary artist, Futura. Making his claim to fame in the early seventies during the rise of the NYC subway graffiti age, he was one of many who turned his work into actual art.
G-Shock recognized this icon and decided to collaborate with him once again on a new line of watches featuring his recent atomic illustrations that he used with Converse. The G-Shock GDX6900FTR-1 model will have the graphics throughout the face and strap creating a monochrome design. This collaboration is set to hit stores June 1st and retailing at $180.
This anticipated collection with G-Shock will include many characteristics like being shock and 200MM water resistance, auto LED backlight and 2 Multi-Function Alarms and 1 Snooze Alarm.
