Forget the Midas Touch, right now it’s all about the Toronto Touch. Drake‘s latest album VIEWS is smashing records left and right. The album, which dropped on Friday April 29th has already moved a record breaking 600,000 units in two days alone. By Saturday, VIEWS had sold 741,000 in the United States and another 80,000 in Canada. Regardless, if the album has lived up to the hype or not, isn’t the question anymore when you do numbers like that.
That’s just the beginning because the 6 God’s leading single “One Dance” has also managed to surpass Adele‘s UK record for most track streams in a single week for “Hello.” He’s leaning towards a career-best this week because it’s predicted that VIEWS first week sales in the U.S. alone can tally up to 1.2 million.
From where Drake is sitting at right now, he has the best view.
