It is fairly safe to say that the demand for our favorite artists to join forces and release collaborative efforts is as high as it has ever been. I even wrote about it a few months ago, because there are so many emcees that I think would be just as successful dropping joint projects as JAY Z and Kanye West were, or more recently Drake and Future. I think I speak on behalf of most Hip-Hop fans when I say my fingers remain crossed.
Since we’re talking about joint projects, lets talk about HoodStock Records’ Nemo Achida and DesignerFlow. The two Kentucky wordsmiths — Nemo from Lexington and DesignerFlow from Louisville — have linked up musically on many occasions, but this time around the two are gearing up to give us their 7-track EP titled SixPieceSpicy.
With what is the first of multiple upcoming visual releases, the duo liberates “You’re Welcome”, a clip that is centered mostly around DesignerFlow — who also directed this one– as he delivers semi-hype wordplay over rather chill production.
