Shy Glizzy feat. G Herbo – Too Far
Shy Glizzy and G Herbo collaborate for the track “Too Far.” It’s a D.C. and Chicago affair as these two link up together. The song was produced by Goose, one of the industries come-up producer who is building his name up daily. “I came too far, I done came too far,” Glizzy raps on the chorus. Both Herbo and Glizzy layer an ability to let off rhymes in a way that only they can dictate on a track.
The track highlights the lows and highs of “being a star” and everyone “knowing who you are.” You’ll hear Herbo rap about taking a break from drama to eat lavishly, and Glizzy staying away from distractions and the beef as well.
Up next for Shy Glizzy, is his anticipated follow up to his Young Jefe project. The early 2014 mixtape was received well by critics, and now listeners anticipate the release of Young Jefe 2. There isn’t a release date set in stone as of yet, but this new release is a good indication that it’s coming. Previously, Glizzy released his Zaytoven-produced mixtape, For Trappers Only. As him and his Glizzy Gang crew continue to grow, Shy doesn’t shy away from his direction in his art form.
