We can all agree that sometimes what’s good to you, isn’t necessarily what’s good for you. At one point or another, we have all found ourselves in situations where we wanted something, got it and then perhaps realized that maybe it wasn’t what we needed, after all. Apollo Mighty gets that, thus providing us with the premiere of his latest album, The Great Divide, which is also accompanied by a short film, of the same name.
The Great Divide offers ten all-new songs from Apollo, which vividly paint a picture of the aforementioned ideology and scenarios presented. With all production being handled by UK producer Lewis Cullen, and guest spots from Notty Taylor, Kelsey Bogard, and fellow Memphis native Daz Rinko, The Great Divide aptly serves as an intrinsic musical experience.
If you are one of those who likes to envision music as you listen to it, you are in for a visual treat as The Great Divide short film provides endless imagery — thanks to the lens of Mike Brown — and features every song from the project.
After the release of numerous singles and videos (which can be found right here on RESPECT.) The Great Divide is here for our listening and viewing pleasure. Press play and enjoy.
