Pharrell Williams is back teaming up with Adidas Originals. He gave the world his 2015 “Supershell” collection, including designs with artist from NYC’s Todd James and Cass Bird to Japan’s Mr. Each artist created a design for a pair of the Superstar Adidas. The fashionable, Billionaire Boys Club owner will be dropping a new collection with Adidas, entitled ‘Pink Beach’.
The limited edition collection will launch its first set of items on May 5th, giving an island feel with one look including an embroided olive green shirt and short set. This collection will also have a sports jacket available in black and have “528HZ,” on the back which is a frequency told to create healing vibrations for the mind, body and spirit. The designs on the clothing will be some of Pharrell’s signature art work.
The second part of the collection will drop on May 12th with apparel for adults and the youth. This will include summer wear such as bikinis, tanks tees, culottes, jackets, shorts and leggings. There is also an “Artist Poncho”designed with water-resistant mesh and the adidas three stripe motif on it.
Of course Pharrell can’t drop an Adidas Collab without any sneakers involved! The elastic lace-up sneaker gives off the look of the classic Adidas Stan Smith, while the other lace up shoe will be multi-colored. The second design will be similar to the lace-up, but instead they will slip-ons.
The images for this collection were by Viviane Sassen, a Dutch fashion photographer, her styles are inspired by the three years she lived in West Kenya as a child.
The Pink Beach collection will be available at Adidas Originals and Billionaire Boys Club’s flagship stores, online and in select retailers around the world.
