Nicki Minaj Talks Unnecessary Rumors, ‘Barbershop 3’ and More w/Ellen

There is nothing we love more than catching Nicki Minaj on live television discussing her music and her newest ventures. Yes, we love watching her live on stage as well but her interviews are always so interesting! And that includes her most recent one on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The rapper sat down with Ellen to discuss the upcoming release of Barbershop: The Next Cut and the constant rumors she has to deal with when it comes to dating. She explained how the rumors can be quite over the top and she would rather not deal with them at all. The interview gave great insight on what Nicki as an artist AND a human being has to deal with while in the limelight.

Even after the interview with Ellen debuted, blogs/multiple sites, began to misconstrue Nicki’s words and how she described her relationship with Meek Mill. Regardless what Nicki stated, many didn’t bother to really hear everything she said. They took the bits and pieces they wanted and made it seem as if Nicki was downplaying her relationship. Well, exactly what Nicki explained about the rumors is exactly what happened right after her interviewed dropped. It’s a vicious cycle and after watching her interview, we totally understand what she means!
