With a name change, the artist formerly known as G.O returns to the Internet with new music. Now going under the more Google friendly, Gary Soulz, the upcoming lyricist unleashes his latest offering in the form of the Flexxington Don-produced “Stressin.” It’s a follow-up to the fall released “September 21st,” which featured Florida’s Pat Woods.
On “Stressin,” the Massachusetts representatives once again show strong chemistry and prove to be a respectable duo with potential of making even better music in the near future. Flexxington’s rich synth filled production sets the tone perfectly as Soulz delivers polished introspective lyrics about some of the stressful things that one goes through in their lifetime. These things include relationships that don’t work out, friends who aren’t there for you, and parents that don’t see your visions. The rapper’s continued experimentation on the hook and the additional vocals by Ashante Nicole make it the perfect track.
“Stressin” is scheduled to appear on Soulz’s upcoming EP titled Soulz Soundz. He hasn’t given much detail on the project, but expect it to be his formal introduction to the masses. With a new music and visual on the way, the campaign for the EP will likely pick up in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy “Stressin” below and stay updated by following him via Twitter.
