First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will appear on NBC’s The Voice, of course the duo will not be auditioning or performing. According to Variety, the pair will appear on the show to commemorate the fifth anniversary of their Joining Forces initiative, which supports service members, veterans and their families by providing employment, education, and wellness resources. The entire audience of The Voice‘s top ten performance show on Monday night will be filled with active duty and retired service members and military families.
CBS’s NCIS is set to welcome Mrs. Obama as a very special guest star! CBS announced on Thursday (April 28), that FLOTUS will appear in the hit series’ on the May 3 episode .
“Filming inside the White House was a dream come true for the NCIS cast and crew,” NCIS producer Gary Glasberg said in a statement. “It was such a pleasure working with First Lady Michelle Obama and it’s our honor to support the ‘Joining Forces’ initiative and the military families that benefit from it.”
In the episode, titled Homefront, FLOTUS will welcome special agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the wife of a Marine to the White House for a “Joining Forces” roundtable with military spouses.
NCIS isn’t the First Lady’s first appearance on a major TV show as she has popped up on Project Runway: Junior, Nashville and Disney Channel’s Jessie.
NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
