She’s raising the bar…
Meghan Trainor dropped a new hot single titled “Better” featuring Yo Gotti. The sultry tune was produced by Mr.Frank, Tommy Brown, and Ricky Reed. And is off the forthcoming sophomore album, Thank You, which will be available on May 13th.
The pop singer opens up about her previous relationship and how the guy didn’t meet her emotional needs. With this in mind, she sets the record straight on her expectations for a loving relationship. In the song, she’s dishing it all out and refuses to settle for less. “I deserve better, better than you/ I deserve better, better than you/ I deserve better/ Tell ’em what they already know, I deserve better,” she sings.
On the positive side, she realized this man wasn’t going to change his ways and gave him the boot. At the same time, Yo Gotti delivers a male’s perspective with his verse and tries to mend things. He points out that he’s been neglecting his object of affection and wants to man up. Long story short he breaks down the true significance of the word “Better” and let’s her know she deserves the world.
