And yet again, RESPECT. has another update regarding the longest rap beef (recently) in history between Meek Mill and Drake. This time it is not in the form of a diss track or a physical altercation but instead a battle of an April 29th release date. It has already been announced that Drake will be dropping his highly anticipated album,View From The 6, on April 29th exclusively on Apple Music for one week then to other platforms, but some “private investigation” work from fans has alluded to the possibility that Meek Mill also plans on dropping his anticipated mixtape, Dreamchasers 4, on the same day.
The rumors came about after Datpiff posted a countdown ticker on their website announcing that Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 4 mixtape would drop on April 29th. Since then, the countdown has been removed from the site but no one is really saying why the April 29th release date was put up in the first place.
@KPdatpiff Datpiff takes an L for this, why put a countdown in the first place?

The two projects dropping on the same day, yet alone the same week would have definitely up the anti for what seems to be a never ending rap beef but apparently it might not even true to begin with. It is unclear why the countdown was initially placed on DatPiff but regardless fans have some good new music to look forward to. While this would have made the topic of a highly debated “Who project is better?” conversation interesting, Meek Mill and Drake fans alike are looking forward to releasing of the respective projects regardless of the release dates.
