Future is returning that favor to his baby mother by slapping her with a shady lawsuit. Back in February, the “Body Party” singer filed a 15-million dollar defamation suit against rapper, Future, who is the father of her child. The lawsuit was in junction to Future’s Twitter rant, in which he divulged her monthly child support payments, and questioned her parenting.
“This bitch got control problems…I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture… the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus wanna see babyfuture that’s all.”
Future fired back with his own case. In the lawsuit the rapper says, Ciara waited past the statute of limitations to sue him if he did slander her name, and demands her claims be thrown out. Future says Ciara is a media whore and is trying to milk the lawsuit to garner publicity for herself. He states that her career has been on the decline for the past 2-3 years. He continues by saying, she has a “reasonably large” fan base but also refers to her last album as a “flop,” and that she’s currently not winning any awards. He added that Ciara claims her success helped his rise and she needs to stop living in the past.
Future’s countersuit is demanding she cease making any further false statements about him, along with her being ordered to pay his legal fees for her frivolous lawsuit and also unspecified punitive damages for violating the law with her nonsense complaint. Future also wants all her claims against him to be thrown out and Ciara be awarded nothing from her $15 mill complaint.
