In October of last year, R&B crooner Bryson Tiller, touched the music industry with an undeniable-nact of reaching the relevancy of many listener’s ear. “T R A P S O U L” drove its way to excellence, backed by the hit “Don’t.” From a song on Soundcloud that began getting a lot of recognition to extreme radio play, we’ve seen Bryson Tiller develop over time. It’s almost as if things happen over night.
Bryson Tiller had the opportunity to sign with OVO, but opted for RCA instead. Not burning a bridge, the two still support one another in their separate endeavors. Tiller considers Drake to be a “big bother” and that Drake reaching out to him was the best news, besides the news of having his daughter.
“T R A P S O U L” was announced last week that it was certified gold. One week later, it is now certified platinum by the RIAA. Tiller explains how this happened so fast.
“So a few days ago, we told everyone that this album went Gold. They actually told me it went Gold a month or so ago but wanted me to wait until my Radio City Show to tell people. Well…. Right after the show they surprised me and told me that T R A P S O U L is officially a Platinum Album. words cannot explain how i feel. thank you if you bought this, you changed my life.”
