Big Sean’s status got bigger this morning! While going through the mail the Detroit super lyricist discovered his third album, Dark Sky Paradise went platinum.
Dark Sky Paradise is the G.O.O.D Music’s artists first platinum plaque and he shared his joyful feeling over the major accomplishment on Instagram:
Since entering the rap game, Big Sean has always been one of the best metaphorical lyricist of this era of hip-hop but still he played the role of the underdog. Critics always considered him good, but with this platinum milestone, that status has changed. Hip-hop fans are going to be discussing Big Sean a lot. He is definitely in beast mode. Not only did his album go platinum but we’re still talking about the great job he and Jhené Aiko did on their collaborated project Twenty88. When are we going to find time to talk about his new music he has coming?
