Alicia is coming back with the key to our musical hearts!
It’s been far too long since we’ve last gotten music from Alicia Keys but the wait is over. After having second child with husband Swizz Beatz, Keys has announced that a new album is on its way. Through her newly Snapchat account the “Fallin” singer made the big announcement.
“I’ve been dying to share some news with you for awhile. You’ve been asking and asking and it’s finally real. That’s right. I have new music to share with you and I’m gonna be performing in the next couple of weeks.”
Alicia is set to take the stage to premiere new material as Saturday Night Live’s musical guest on May 7th. This appearance marks her third time performing on the show. This new album will follow her 2012 Girl on Fire album. Reportedly, Alicia has been in the studio with Pharrell Williams and Swizz Beatz on the new project.
In addition, it was also announced that Keys will be joining The Voice as a coach for the show’s upcoming season 11.
