Before 2015 came to a close, Cleveland femcee Chelsea Pastel gave us here at RESPECT. the privilege of premiering a super trippy joint, titled “D.M.T.”, which essentially served as her coming out party, highlighting being the newest addition to L.I.F.E. Art & Content Company. Chelsea had already been building a crazy buzz on her own, so joining a faction like L.I.F.E. — which also houses rising Cleveland upstart Kipp Stone — seemed only fitting.
Now, freshly removed from doing a show two hours away from her hometown and gaining a few new fans, Chelsea Pastel gives us the accompanying visuals to “D.M.T.”, with Jon Holman behind the lens and the video is just as loopy as you would expect, after hearing the song. While “D.M.T.”, in this case, has nothing to do with drugs, it’s hard to watch this video and not feel like you’re on something. From mannequin heads to people in creepy Jabbawockee masks to a guy who is totally tweaking, this video is quite the experience and compliments the song fairly well.
Watch “D.M.T.” below and keep your eyes and ears peeled as Chelsea Pastel is gearing up to release a brand new EP, sooner than later.
