As YG gears up to release his new project, Still Krazy, he has previewed an unreleased record in a commercial for his 4Hunnid clothing brand. The short video displays YG and his cohorts bicken back, shooting dice on the block, decked out in new pieces of 4Hunnid clothing, when they are rudely interrupted by local law enforcement. YG’s crew then proceeds to get harassed and thrown to the pavement and one of his homeboys presumptively gets shot and killed by the police. The Bompton rapper then pours out a little liquor from his 40 ounce bottle in honor of his fallen soldier. It’s unclear if the title of the video “THIS IS REGULAR” is referring to the title of the unreleased song or it is making a statement about occurrences like these happening much to often, or both.
YG’s 4Hunnid clothing brand, which was going to initially be sold as simple merchandise for purchase at shows and online (according to Greenlabel.com) is inching closer and closer to becoming a full-fledge lifestyle brand. With it’s first official capsule being released this spring, YG and his team look to expand the line’s horizons and fall into the conversation of best street-wear brands out right now. 4Hunnid’s Spring 2016 collection includes all new caps, shirts, jackets, hoodies and beanies with multiple designs and color-ways, as well as stickers. The creative people of 4Hunnid brand even created an extremely lit 4Hunnid pocket-lighter.
