Ty Dolla $ign Links Up With Quavo & Metro Boomin for ‘Long Time’

On November 13th of last year, Ty Dolla $ign delivered his debut album, Free TC. The album saw much pushback on when the official release date would be. Equipped with 16 tracks, the project featured Future, Trey Songz, Sevyn Streeter, Kanye West, Babyface, Wiz Khalifa, Fetty Wap, and many more. While the project was star-studded, Ty was able to push what he does to another level. Letting other artists compliment his sound, Ty’s balance on the album was amazing.

Ty Dolla $ign is preparing to re-release the Free TC album this friday. The project will feature bonus cuts with more interesting features. To start the train of excitement for the album, Ty Dolla $ign, Qauavo, and Metro Boomin collaborate for the song “Long Time.”

With Metro Boomin on production, the ambient-wave is continuously pushed throughout the track. Laid-back, Metro keeps the sounds mellow for Ty’s voice to match up will. As mellow of a production as Metro gave, Quavo’s verse gave the track a break by providing some energy.

Metro Boomin handled the production on “Know Ya,” which featured Trey Songz. Ty Dolla $ign seeks production from 808 Mafia, DJ Spinz, Sonny Digital, and Metro Boomin for his mixtape cuts on a regular. With tracks like “Blasé” and “Know Ya,” the groove is only forming a better bond.
