Hip-Hop icon Too $hort will celebrate an impressive 30 years in the rap game with a special live performance for his fans that will also mark the first ever Global Live Streaming Event at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Too $hort and friends, including George Clinton, IamSu, Trae Tha Truth and more, will take the stage to jam with a live band, broadcasting live from Empire Control Room on Wednesday, March 16th from 4-6pm (CT), hosted by Hip-Hop Nation’s DJ Nina 9. The rap superstar is also celebrating the official launch of his new Digital BoomBox Studios, a fully equipped, digital creative facility located in Downtown Los Angeles. In addition to Too $hort’s 30th Anniversary Global Live Streaming event onMarch 16th, fans will also get to witness the Hip-Hop trailblazer on an official SXSW Stage on Saturday, March 19th at The Belmont, located at 305 West 6th Street in Austin. $hort will join a star-studded lineup including Big KRIT, Trae Tha Truth, Scotty ATL, Nick Grant, Earth Gang, Dougie F, Rich The Kid and more.
