Denzel Curry’s new album features Joey Bada$$ and Rick Ross
Equipped with 10 tracks, is Denzel Curry’s Imperial album. He takes pieces from all previous work and then puts it together with current stream of confidence, making for a pretty enjoyable listen. Joey Bada$$, Twelve’len and Rick Ross join him on this project, being the only features on this project. With the aggressiveness that Denzel posses on the project, he didn’t need anymore features to join in.
On the hook of “Gook,” Curry addresses a situation with former Raider Klan partner, SpaceGhostPurrp. “I don’t f*ck with Purpp, that’s the reason Yams‘ died,” Denzel rapidly says.
No doubt, it’s a strong way to come off his 2013 album Nostalgic 64. Since releasing that project, we’ve seen the rise of an artist who took over the underground, and is now rising up to the front of the industry (arguably).
He’ll also be headlining his own 30-city tour called 2055: THE ULT EXPERIENCE.
Heading out on the 22nd, the album Imperial will be the perfect set up for Curry to head out on tour.
During your listen of the project, you will find rapidly-agressive flows inside of hard-knocking production, courtesy of FNZ, $uicide Boy$, and more.
“Imperial is me attempting to reach my ultimate form and to introduce a lifestyle of truth to my fans, be honest with yourself and you will grow, ULT,” Curry told HYPETRAK.
If this is your first time hearing the Carol City, Florida rapper, you’re in for a treat. Enjoy your listen of the 10-track project below.
