Users of music streaming services will be glad to know The Life of Pablo is available everywhere Friday. If you weren’t a Tidal subscriber when Kanye West dropped his latest album, chances are you suffered from defeat as the rest of the world blessed itself with Kanye’s latest offering. Since the release of TLOP, several fans without a Tidal subscription were forced to delay enjoying his album.
Fortunately, Kanye gave in. Starting Friday, TLOP will be available on services such as Apple Music and Spotify. No word yet regarding if other streaming services will also release TLOP.
Now that Kanye is back on Twitter out-tweeting us all, he ranted in February that Tidal was the only place to find his album. The decision for TLOP to become available across other platforms is a surprise to most, especially since West is a co-founder of Tidal. Furthermore, he stated his album will never be on sale.

What inspired Kanye to release his album on other services? It could be that producer Lido remixed the entire album into a eight minutes abridged version on Tuesday.

Or it could be that earlier this week the track “Famous” began showing up on other services but unavailable to stream officially. With the hype still roaring, ‘Ye recently tweeted the link ilovekanyesong.com proceeding lyrics to another TLOP track, “I Love Kanye.” The site contained links to this track on Tidal, Spotify, and Apple Music.
