OddKidOut has gained a growing following since his days at Philadelphia’s renowned School of Rock where he earned his chops alongside GRAMMY Award-winning producer David Ivory, soul singer Jaguar Wright, members of the Digable Planets and more. Now, the up-and-coming producer is readying his debut EP Within on his own OddKidOut Records, set for release next month.

At just 11-years-old, the prolific producer was asked to join the city’s renowned School of Rock. From touring local at age 13 to working alongside GRAMMY Award-winning producer David Ivory, soul singer Jaguar Wright and members of hip-hop collective Digable Planets, the Drexel University student has quickly built a name for himself, drawing attention from Instagram’s @music account and more along the way.
“Music is geography; something that grounds us and moves us, a landscape to get lost in, and a place we’ll always return to. For OddKidOut, that place is Philly. And the soul and streets of Philadelphia are felt throughout his autobiographical debut Within. Fierce, unapologetic: OddKidOut takes on youth, turmoil, and the musical legacy of the city he loves.
