Los Angeles rapper Azizi Gibson is set to release his new album A New Life on April 1.
This latest offering could be considered a sequel to his 2015 single “Slave Ship” that featured Waka Flocka and was featured on the album preHISTORIC Till Death, released via 36brickhouse. This can be considered as his third single from his forthcoming album.
Coming back to the track, it is a smooth new banger that captures Azizi’s unique voice combined with his refreshing yet known singing/rapping flows that highlights the current state of the music industry ie hustling your way to the top and how he aspires to achieve this, doing it all whilst bodying this sparse and spaced out Kamandi-produced beat. The song is all about Azizi making boss moves and when he does he wants to show you how to shine the right way in the matrix if you join him for another ride on his slave ship.
A New Life drops April 1 as for now take in the metaphorical track below.
Whilst your at it take in his previous track titled “Bragging Rights” featuring DJ Paul.
