J. Bair Drops New Track ‘The Essence’ off of New LP

PA emcee J. Bair offers up another exclusive look into his debut LP, The Pursuit Of Happyness with his single entitled, “The Essence,” which features Brooklyn lyrical rappers, Torae and Masta Ace of the legendary Juice Crew. Production comes from fellow Pennsylvanian, PremTouch. While the duo have not collabrated with each other thus far, we expect this to be the beginning of a solid working foundation. Only time will tell on that!

“The Essence” is a gritty track aimed at hip-hop music purists and aficionados that have watched the sound of the “boom bap” go from sugar to s**t over the turn of the century. With help from Coney Island’s own Torae and the OG from “Never Ran, Never Will,” Brownsville team up with the Pennsylvanian to show the younger generation the root of where today’s Hip-Hop originates. PremTouch dishes out some supreme production for this track and the trio take full advantage.

J.B. also recently dropped the video to the sophomore track, “Gemini,” from The Pursuit Of Happiness, which has been featured on several top rated hip-hop blogs including ThatsEnuff, TheSource, JackThriller and more.
