For those of us who have been waiting for the release of Correy Parks’ forthcoming project, The Road Less Traveled, it can be said that it has felt like an eternity. However, the wait is almost over, as we are exactly one week away from the drop, which to this point has been preceded by quite the amount of momentum.

Earlier this week, via The Fader, the Columbus emcee premiered his latest single for the Yogi Split-assisted “On Our Way”, an ambitious new song that reeks of self-realization. With lines like “I know we gonna find a way/And when we get it, we gon’ get it in the finest way”, Correy makes it clear that dreams will be fulfilled, hard work will pay off and the fruits of his and his team’s labor will be celebrated.

“‘On Our Way’ is about the stretch of life’s journey, where we discover that the power to create our own reality is in our hands. It’s about knowing that there will be fears, hardships, and lessons learned along the way, but it will all be worth it once we prevail”, Correy explained. “You will find unexpected partnerships in some amazing people.
