Once acclaimed one of the best high school hockey prospects in a state where Hockey is more religion than sport, TJ Hickey was all in on his dream to play professionally. The Boston, Massachusetts native landed at Division 1 Union College, the eventual NCAA Champions. After concerns about his commitment due to his passion for music, he was cut from the team. Despite feeling devastated, TJ used it to fuel his music career. Now only a few years later TJ has curated his sound and has toured the nation playing for thousands of fans. With contributions from friends Futuristic, Mod Sun, Cam Meekins, Huey Mack, and Devvon Terrell on his debut project Undeniable (2015), it was received with critical acclaim from many pop and hip-hop writers from all over the world. TJ was able to excel in a field where there is little room to mess up. Since taking music more seriously; TJ has performed at numerous venues for cult following fans, he’s dropped several dope videos, and has just recently been given a verified account on twitter. The list of accomplishments could go on for TJ Hickey, but for now we’ll give you something to listen to. Now, the Boston artist returns to drop off a refreshing new single for the ladies entitled ‘Challenge.’ With some energetic production from Nox Beats and Vinay, and a ridiculously catchy chorus from vocalist Jordan Richardson, TJ Hickey has a strong release on his hands.
