Social Media maven, Amber Rose, continues to dominate the tech world with her brand new collection of “MUVA MOJI” icons created by Moji, the worldwide leader of emoji. The roll out of over 900 new icons will have people talking as they cover every aspect of Amber’s exciting and controversial life in the public eye – from her headline-making “SLUT” and “THOT” references to her well-known love and acceptance of the LGBT community.
Amber celebrated the release of her new #MUVAMOJI collection at a red carpet event inside Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood with celebrity guests in attendance including Hip-Hop icon Too $hort, Actor/Model Quincy, Fitness Model/Entrepreneur Rosa Acosta, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Sincere Show, “Pretty Ricky” rapper Spectacular Smith, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood stars Moniece Slaughter and Teairra Mari, Gold Gang Leader Trinidad James, rap artist Safaree Samuels, Power 106 Host Yesi Ortiz, RnB artist Kevin McCall, LA artist Problem, Preacher’s Daughters star Lolly White, music producer/artist Mally Mall, music industry tastemaker Steve Lobel, and more, with the evening’s music curated by Miss DJ Bliss and DJ Duffey to close out the night.
“This isn’t just an ‘in the moment’ deal for me,” says Amber Rose. “I take this very serious and am committed to leaving my footprint in the tech world. Working on this has brought out the geek in me and I’m excited for what the future holds. Most people don’t understand how the emojis that come installed with your iPhone even work. I didn’t really know either prior to working on this. But I learned that it’s impossible for anyone to create more that work like the original ones. They work in something called Unicode and Apple doesn’t even have control over how they work. This is something I think most people don’t get. We’re working to change that, but for now we have come up with the best alternative and I think these are even more fun to use in your messages,” Amber adds.
Oliver Camilo, Founder & CEO of Moji, says, “We believe Amber Rose is a perfect fit for our brand. We’ve been working on this collection with her for the past six months and with over 900 icons, you’ll see just how hands-on Amber was in the creation process,” notes Camilo. “This was an amazing event to celebrate all of the work we’ve done with her and it was a great opportunity for the press and her fans to see what’s she been doing and how she’s really making strides in the tech space.”
Moji has seemingly emerged as a worldwide leader in emoji by creating high quality, customized icons that are relevant to pop culture in real time. Since its inception last year, Moji has created over 13,000 icons and has collaborated with a list of notable celebrity influencers including Future, The Game, DJ Snake, Fetty Wap, Fabolous, Pia Mia, G-Eazy and many more. “We have a small, highly effective team of designers and animators that works together to create unique and relevant emojis for people to use in their every day messaging,” notes Camilo. “The products you see are just the tip of the iceberg. We have a lot more creative projects with Amber and our brand we’re excited to unveil this year.”
Amber Rose arguably continues to expand her “MUVA” empire in the social media, fashion and tech industries while making headlines as the outspoken leader of her own women’s empowerment movement.
