Listen to a new collab from A$AP Rocky and Waka Flocka
A$AP Rocky and The Mob have continued to let loose a good 1-3 songs each and every Wednesday; in conjunction with Wavy Wednesday. This week, a new A$AP Rocky and Waka Flocka track appears. “Goldie Mack” is a fun track, having the two go back and forth with rhymes. The rhyming style that both artists used in the track point to an older recording session. You can hear the youth in Rocky’s voice and even the matters that raps about are a bit different than those subjects he’s rapping about in current time. As for Waka, he’s always played the field with his ranges of personas.
This is not the first time the two have linked up for a song. You may remember A$AP Rocky’s huge-hit of “Pretty Flacko” a few years back. Produced by SpaceGhostPurrp, the track was filled with energy and was the birth of Pretty Flacko. The remix to the song featured Pharrell Williams, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka. Waka actually remixed the track before the official remix and performed it live one time with Rocky.
The track “Goldie Mack” is actually a snippet of unfinished work, produced by 808 Mafia. It would be great to have the two get back in a studio session to see where the final results will take them. Who’s to say that there isn’t already a final version finished, locked and ready to go for the A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tape?
Loaded with tracks on the shelf, The Mob is working on putting together their Cozy Tape. They recently shot the music video to their “Yamborghini High” single, which we should be seeing soon hopefully. Before that, A$AP Ferg will be dropping his sophomore album Always Strive And Prosper on April. 22.
Take a listen to “Goldie Mack” below.
