Ferg’s new album is coming sooner than we think
A$AP Ferg had us looking forward to his new album in January, but then the process got pushed back. Then, February became a new goal for the release, until that was pushed back as well. Here we are in March and we’re as close to getting Always Strive And Prosper than we ever were before.
Ferg sat down with Nadeska Alexis of Complex News to speak on his new album, a hopeful Taylor Swift-collab track, and much more.
“It’s coming very very soon. Actually it’s coming asap. Actually it’s gonna be out in a few weeks.”
Ferg said he’s in the final stages of the album, as he works through sample clearances, finalizing tracks, etc. He doesn’t give away a specific release date due to all of that, and doesn’t want to get the hope of his fans up.
Ferg does have a song on his album, that he truly feels is perfect for Taylor Swift.
“I have a song that I want her to get on,” Ferg said. “And I don’t know anybody that knows her, I probably do know a lot of people that know her, but I need to know her directly so she can get on this song.”
Ferg’s collaborations in the past have set him apart from the rest, branching off to many different avenues of music.
“The song is actually on the album. I think that if she was actually on it, it’ll be that cherry on top.”
