Kylie Jenner is officially an ambassador for Puma. According to Refinery29, Adam Petrick, (Puma’s global director of brand and marketing) said:
“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”
Brother-In-Law Kanye West, who has obvious loyalty to Adidas, wasn’t too pleased at first to hear about the Jenner/Puma pair up. Last week ‘TLOP‘ creative used to his favorite outlet to express his emotions, Twitter.
“1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything.”
“Puma we gone give you your measly million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!“
But when Ye was typing his declaration, little sis already inked the deal and signed the final paperwork. Miscommunication much? Word got to Yeezy, but the 38-year-old kept his cool when asked about Ky’s partnership with the shoe competitor as he was making his way through the airport just hours after the news broke. Kylie reportedly told Ye the deal was only good for 6 months, so he wasn’t as pissed.
“She had already signed and I was mad for a little bit… but I’m really happy for her though.”
But after discussing Kylie, Kanye had more important things to talk about — Kanye! Hip-Hop’s Walt Disney further elaborated his “begging and pleading for money” tweets:
“I spent 53 million over the past 13 years chasing my dreams and I wanted to make sure all entrepreneurs that it’s possible to go under and still make it out. You know with my shoes I know I’m going to make it better but there’s times it was definitely hard, there was times it was a struggle, there were times it was frustrating because it felt like if you make the Yeezys maybe someone will come out and support you. It felt like if you are a dope artist then maybe someone will support you, but that didn’t happen. The only company that ever supported me was Adidas.”
