With his latest album, When It’s Dark Out, making plenty of noise since its release late last year, Oakland emcee G-Eazy lets loose a new video for “Order More”. Featuring Starrah, who recently made some major waves for her work with Rihanna on ANTI (see “Needed Me“), “Order More” is the third single from the album.
If you are familiar with the famous Goldstein mansion, which is located in Los Angeles, then the backdrop for the cinematic, “Order More” should be a fairly noticeable one. Not to mention, there are women galore, making for a plethora of visually stimulating eye candy. Between the women, money and alcohol, G-Eazy turned the Goldstein into the ultimate kickback and after watching this video one time, you’ll probably wish you were there to partake in the festivities. Or maybe that’s just me.
On a sidenote, if this beat sounds familiar to you, it’s because it kind of is. If you recall, the original version of Wiz Khalifa and Travi$ Scott’s popular “Bake Sale” collaboration featured this beat, which is produced by DJ Spinz. However, a pretty weird incident ended up resulting in Khalifa Man and La Flame having to somewhat regroup and eventually alter their song, upon learning the beat was already sold to G-Eazy. In any event, both songs are available for our listening pleasure, and both songs sound pretty damn good in your car, in the club or wherever it is that you use to play your favorite songs.
It will also be very interesting to see how far Starrah goes. With a fairly impressive list of credits including the likes of Kid Ink (“Blowin’ Swishers Pt. 2”), Jeremih (“Pass Dat”) and the aforementioned RiRi, it is no secret how talented she is as a songwriter.
Enough talking, though. Enjoy this clip for “Order More” and grab When It’s Dark Out, if you haven’t yet.
