French Montana released the official tracklist for his new release, Wave Gods, and the project is set to have HUGE names co-signing it. The Wave God gave us the news that the Snapchat God himself, DJ Khaled, will be premiering the tape on his Beats 1 radio show. Major key!
Future, Kanye West, Nas, Travi$ Scott, Big Sean, Puff Daddy, Jadakiss, and the late Chinx are among the names set to appear on the tape, hosted by homie and the ‘wave’ curator, Max B. Although, from the looks of the tracklist, there is no track with French and Max B, we assume Max will make a jail phone call as done on Kanye’s The Life of Pablo.
Th Future feature, “Miley Cyrus”, will grant fans a preview of what the collaborative mixtape that never saw the light of day, Medusa, would have sounded like and the Puffy and Jadakiss collab, “Old Man“, probably sprinkles some Bad Boy flava. But, the pivotal feature on the mixtape hands down goes to the late Chinx. The emcee was affiliated with French’s Coke Boy movement and his untimely murder hit home for not only Frenchie, but the entire rap game. Chinx is featured on the final cut of the tape “All Over”.
French also speaks on some “movies and music” he has in the works with A$AP Rocky, whom is also featured on the Wave Gods project. No details were discussed, but “music and movies” were promised.
The Coke Boy dropped the Chris Brown-assisted track “Waves God Intro” earlier, teasing our excitement for the star-studded lineup project.
