We all remember “Beasts of the East”, “Banned from TV” and perhaps even more recently, “1 Train.” It’s pretty evident that a good mixed posse track becomes an integral part of hip-hop history. The occurrence is even more celebrated when executed by a demographic in the rap game seldom celebrated in their own right. In recent days Manny Garcia & Termanology revealed their revamping of “Latino Unification”, originally released during the Summer of ’15.
This time, the two bring along Ea$y Money’s clever references to all things latino in culture, Noreaga’s comical flow and stories from the musical trenches and most fittingly, rap prodigy, Chris Rivers, offering a relentless lyrical spattering over samplings of his late & great pops, the one and only Big Pun.
