Boston’s Fran-P delivers his ambitious, animated visual for “Noel Pancho,” off his LP, Pancho, which dropped this past May. Produced by The Arcitype, who’s been gracing our rap pages pretty consistently as of late, concocts a nostalgic organ-fueled instrumental for P to tell his coming of age story that comes to life under the directorial animation of of M. Watkins. I think many of us have felt like a fish out of water at some point or another, but it’s often those experiences that create the most growth and shape our identity.
For Fran-P, there’s no denying how his three months spent in the Dominican Republic as a young teenager would forever change his life. From learning about his culture, to making new friends, to teenage love, Fran-P tells the story of becoming Pancho.
