It’s official! For the first time, The Weeknd will be performing at the 58 Annual Grammy Awards along with Kendrick Lamar, Adele and Little Big Town . The group is the first round of announcements of who will be performing at the show. As we get closer to the actual day of the awards, there will be more performances announced.
It is not a surprise that Kendrick Lamar leads in nominations with 11 including Album of the Year for To Pimp a Butterfly. The Weeknd landed in second along with Taylor Swift with 7 nominations for his album Beauty Behind the Madness and his contribution to the movie Fifty Shades of Grey “Earned It.” Little Big Town is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Album for Pain Killer. Previously taking home 10 Grammys as well as coming off of the success of her new album 25 and her single “Hello”, Adele returns to the Grammys’ stage after four years to sing one of her newest records.
LL Cool J is hosting the show for the fifth consecutive year at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 15. CBS will broadcast live the show 8 p.m EST.
