This was definitely Drake’s year. He was that guy on Degrassi. Remember? Since then, he has dominated hip-hop, with one avant-garde track at a time. Drake’s “Back to Back” was a polarizing, yet, jaw dropping experience. Thanks to social media, “Back to Back” is cemented in pop culture forever. The memes alone carried this feud to the next level and it really should have died down by now. Never in hip-hop history has a diss record been nominated for a Grammy award. Definitely, history in the making. Nevertheless, Drake and Meek Mill are both talented lyricists, as fans are hoping for new and highly anticipated music. Hopefully, both rappers make amends in the future.
