For reasons unknown, DMX just (formerly) met with his idol and fellow rapper Rakim for the first time. In the video below, both rappers share stories about the importance of each other’s presence. Both emcees have respect for one another and they weren’t afraid to share it with the public, which is rare among successful artists who aren’t from the same era of time. Rakim said he wishes that he could have a bottle of energy that DMX has.
