Even though artist Ty Dolla $ign is a singer, we’re highly aware that he aligns himself with the aesthetic of a rapper (hence why lines tend to get blurred between the two artistries). With that being said, it is surprising to hear that the “Paranoid” Californian has joined forces with British artist and writer Tracey Emin for her new book, Feelings: Soft Art. The felt-bonded literary work strives to pull out raw and unguarded emotions from readers with captivating images capturing hazy, candid, and of course, soft exhibits and photography. Attracted most to visual artist Gerhard Richter‘s fluffy clouds, Ty Dolla $ign had this to say of his work: “When I look up in the sky and I look at the clouds, they look so soft to me. I always wish I could just touch one.”
