For quite some time now, artists from The UK have been crossing the pond with their music, looking to make an impact here in the United States, and with the likes of Little Simz and Skepta, as well as the emergence of the Grime culture, you can say things are looking promising; not to mention superstars like Adele and Sam Smith.Enter Talitha Cross, better known to her listeners as Taliwhoah.
Prior to yesterday, I wasn’t hip to the Los Angeles, by way of London, songstress, but that changed when I was passed a link to her song “Dissonance”. Not even 30 seconds in, and I was sold, causing me to eagerly rummage her Soundcloud page in search of more music. I would soon find out that the song suggested to me was from her latest project, Melodies of Madness. I wasted no time adding each track to my music library.
To make a long story short, Taliwhoah is good; really good. Great voice and even better songwriting. She’s an artist you most certainly need to know about. Check out her latest offering, “Lost in the Sauce”, below.
