If you are not familiar with the artsy collective that is Tribe NYC then you are really missing out on a group of talented individuals bringing life to culture. Tribe is comprised of poets, rappers, singers, actors, stylists and more that embrace the late 80’s and early 90’s of hip-hop in their music and everyday dress and lifestyle. Chill Fontaine, Kid Love, Teddy Jamz, Prynce Divoe, Manolo Mike and Pauliee Lee have took the time to grow as a group and study hip-hop culture in order to release their debut project, Enter The Tru. This project brings a fresh perspective to New York hip-hop while also paying homage to the vets who came before them. Check out the Tribe below and vibe out.
They recently did a mini documentary with Rolling Stone and you can watch it here. Follow Tribe NYC on Twitter.
