It’s not exactly a stretch to say that Drake has sort of kicked down the door for Canadian hip-hop artists to gain exposure on a broader scale. Nowadays, people seem more interested in the Canadian music scene than ever, and that’s evident when you think of the likes of The Weeknd and PARTYNEXTDOOR and how both of which have catapulted into superstars.
