During my first trip to Chicago, I had the opportunity to attend the listening party for Treated Crew’s White Gzus, at Complex 2010 Studios. Much love to the Treated Crew for making me feel welcomed upon my arrival to the windy city! If you didn’t know, Treated Crew is a collective of visionaries from G.O.O.D. Music’s Holt to Million $ Mano (Kanye West’s DJ), Mic Terror, producers Nez & Rio (Schoolboy Q) and Thelonious Martin (Action Bronson). It is said that White Gzus was initially a side project for Chicago rappers, Gzus Piece and Blanco Caine. But I like where they’re going in their journey. In the third volume of their Stackin N Mackin series, they had production from Justice League, 808 Mafia, and Metro Boomin, just to name a few. Enjoy!
