Over the weekend, Made In America, a two-day live music extravaganza presented by Budweiser took place at the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On day one, Beyoncé headlined and other fan-faves like Earl Sweatshirt, Vic Mensa, De La Soul and Meek Mill also performed. On the final day, J. Cole and The Weeknd blessed the stage. Have a look at the highlights below De La Soul, Nick Jonas, G-Eazy, Future, Nicki Minaj and more:
According to Billboard, many young people were in attendance, Vic Mensa covered the famed Nirvana classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and rapper Meek Mill “pleased and confused” hometown concertgoers as a series of hit songs by girlfriend Nicki Minaj were played before she appeared onstage. Yet and still, not much compares to when husband and sponsor to the festival, JAY Z mouthed the words to his wife’s song (“1+1”).
