If you listen to Chance, you know he could get biblical with bars. This time he teams up with Chicago rapstress Noname Gypsy to deliver “Israel” (Sparring). “Sparring is training, chain snatching of slaves, but a rap song is a match in a cave,” is how Chance opens this one against a smooth track produced by Cam O’bi. Chano weaves in biblical references and personal anecdotes quite nicely, while Noname Gypsy adds some wondrously reflective bars to make the track even more enjoyable. Listen below.
